Beef Fajita

  • 1Kg Beef strips (Beef stroganoff) 

  • Salt and pepper to taste 

  • Steak and chop spice to taste 

  • Half a large onion (diced) 

  • 2 peppers (sliced julienne) 

  • 1 Tbsp butter 

  • 3 avocados 

  • 2 Cups sliced mushrooms 

  • Sour cream (optional) 

  • 2 Tbsp Salsa (spicy or mild) 

  • 1 Cup water 

  • 6 x tortilla wraps

  1. On the pressure cooker control panel turn the menu knob to the “Fry” function and press start.

  2. Melt the butter in the inner pot and add all the veggies. Stir for about3 minutes

  3. Add the beef strips and spices to the pot. Stir

  4. Add the water and salsa to the pot and stir making sure all the beef is coated

  5. Place the lid on the pressure cooker and cancel the “Fry” function

  6. Turn the menu knob again until you reach the “Meat” function

  7. Using the +/- buttons, adjust the time to 7 minutes

  8. Press start to begin cooking. Music will sound and the cooker will start the countdown once the optimum pressure has been reached inside

  9. When the timer ends, cooker will beep and will switch to the “Keep Warm” function automatically. Press the cancel button

  10. Release the pressure by holding the pressure release button on the top of the lid and then open the lid

  11. Scoop out the beef and vegetables and discard excess liquid

  12. Warm up the wraps and place the vegetables and meat mixture, avocado and sour cream to your wraps

  13. Fold the wraps and enjoy!
